Jordan and KSA to re-open border crossings with Iraq

After a two-year closure, Jordan has finally reopened its main border crossing with Iraq. Tight security measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of theTrebil highway which links Jordan to Baghdad.

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia is planning to re-open Arar border crossing with Iraq for the first time in 27 years.

Reviving these vital routes will increase industrial exports and revive commercial traffic between Iraq, Jordan and KSA.

It is noteworthy to mention that cargo transport between Iraq, Jordan, and KSA isn’t active yet as customs and border arrangements are still in the process of finalization between the relevant authorities.

Net logistics is closely monitoring all pertinent updates in order to be fully operational once the arrangements are finalized.
